Rewound to EASA standards
Every motor is received, test run and inspected. Windings are tested, rotors dynamically balanced to NEMA tolerances, bearing fits measured to ABMA tolerance, and new C-3 bearings go in. Rewinds get a core loss test before and after the burnout oven, new copper and Class H varnish.
Then the motor is test run at its rated voltage before it leaves: 460, 2300 or 4160 volts.

Coat it instead of scrapping it
Worn casings and impellers can be rebuilt with cold applied poly-ceramic coatings instead of welding and grinding. Many repairs take one day.
